All material copyright © 2004 Jennifer Sides Thank you for showing interest in my web site and I hope that you will take a moment to read about and listen to a few sound clips from my CD entitled, “Mama’s Grace” which was released April 21st, 2004. This CD has been dedicated in loving memory of my mother Sharon Sides (September 3, 1940 – April 20, 2003). Her love and sacrifices will be cherished forever. Thank You Lord for giving her to me for so many wonderful years. I also thank You for putting these songs in my heart as a way to overcome in a battle where I felt very much defeated. This CD is mostly made up of songs that were written during my mother’s illness. No Time To Sing The Blues is a song that she requested I sing on my next CD. Where Is Your Heart is a song I wrote when her mom passed away and What More Can He Do is the song I sang at her mother’s funeral service. I never really told anyone how much I appreciated everything they did to encourage us during my mother’s illness. I want to take the time to do that now. There are so many people and I hope that each and every one of you who encouraged us in one way or another know how much it meant to my family to know we were in your thoughts. I thank first and foremost my aunt Virginia McConnell who was there every step of the way and then some. I wish to thank Julie Myers for speaking boldly the word of confirmation that helped to make the song Mama’s Grace possible. I also wish to thank Clay and Lisa Barnett, Brandy Dugan Wendell, Stephanie Kraemer, Chelsea Amburn, Angela White Gaddis, April Light, and Tammy Kraemer for taking the time to help me put the CD cover for this project together. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. George Mack for providing the Nile. Thanks to Renita Curlin, Aundre Brooks and Laura Walker for their support and taking a lot of time out to help me promote my first CD, Songs of Praise. THANK YOU also to the following - The Hospice Place of East Texas Tyler for taking such good care of my mom during her last days. Jim Everidge of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Murphy, Texas for preaching such a wonderful funeral service in honor of the life my mom lived and her going home to be with Jesus; the author and finisher of our faith. Brian Gardner who is the music leader at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Murphy, Texas for sharing my testimony of how the song “Mama’s Grace” came to pass. Clara Hinson for making a beautiful spray. Pallbearers – Mike McConnell, John McConnell, Pat McConnell, Gus Jimenez, Bobby Gaddis, and Steve Gray. Home | Blog | Bio | Music | My Links | Photos | E-Mail | Extra Links |
